Pain Perdu

  • 1 egg
  • half liter of milk
  • 100g sugar
  • 50g chocolate powder (if you use cocoa powder add more sugar)
  • 60g dried cranberries

Put all ingredients together untill the bread “drinks” the milk, mix with a spoon

Pour in a loaf mold and bake in a 150 Celsius oven for 20 minutes

Unmold while still hot

Cut a thick slice, coat it in brown sugar and sear with a touch of butter to caramelize the both sides.

I serve it warm with a fresh peach, little spoon of marmelade and small bowl of ice cream…enjoy!
